The Parent Centre is a primary prevention organisation that aims to prevent child abuse through the promotion of positive parenting and in particular positive discipline.

         We work directly with parents/caregivers, educators, child care workers, social workers and others who work with parents and children.

          We do this by :

• collaborating with other people and entering into partnerships with organisations that support and work with parents;
• offering training in positive parenting and supporting individuals and communities wanting to promote the practice of positive parenting;
• offering  counselling and support to parents/caregivers.                                       .
